SMC (sheet moulding compound) is a sheet material containing resin, fillers, and reinforcing fibres (“prepreg” in Russian terminology), BMC (bulk moulding compound) is a shapeless mass in bulk, containing resin, fillers, and reinforcing fibres (“premix” in Russian terminology).
