JSC Tatenergo is one of the largest regional generating companies in the Russian Federation. Branches of the company: Zainskaya GRES, Kazanskaya CHPP-1, Kazanskaya CHPP-2, Naberezhnye Chelny CHPP, Nizhnekamsk HPP, Kazan thermal networks, Naberezhnye Chelny thermal networks, Nizhnekamsk thermal networks, sanatorium-dispensary "Balkysh". Subsidiaries: LLC TatAISEnergo, JSC Bugulminsky enterprise of thermal networks. The main activity of the company is the production of electric and thermal energy at the power plants of JSC Tatenergo included in the unified energy system, the output of the produced energy to electric and thermal networks with the maintenance of normal quality of the released energy - the normalized frequency and voltage of electric current, pressure and temperature of heat carriers. The company provides services to maintain system reliability – services for normalized primary frequency control (NPRF) and automatic secondary frequency and power control (AVRPM).
