Kazan aviation plant named after S. P. Gorbunov - branch of Tupolev PJSC is a modern enterprise with a high intellectual and technical potential that has 90 years of production experience of civil and military aircraft, and it is the unique aircraft manufacturing complex in Russian Federation. Kazan aviation plant was founded in 1927. It has always been the leader in production of new types of military and civil aircraft.During the years of its existence Kazan aviation factory produced 22 types and modifications of aircraft technics in the amount of more than 20 thousand units. From the 1st of June, 2014 JSC KAPO n.a. Gorbunovwas reorganized byincorporation into aircraft manufacturing company“Tupolev” PJSC. The new enterprise got the name Kazan aviation factory n.a. S.P.Gorbunov - subsidiary of “Tupolev” PJSC.
